Simply attach it to the stainless-steel handle of the cordless tester and attach the magnet on other end of the cable on any metal surface of the vehicle. If it is a very insulated surface, then simply add a couple sprays of diluted car wash (Instant Ground) and that makes any surface an instant good ground for the Smart Test Light.
